Decorate with Bacon for the Holidays!

The Holidays are coming! Time to decorate! I don’t really celebrate Christmas myself but I know there are plenty of bacon lovers out there looking to include bacon into their holidays. Of course we can bake but what about decorations? I searched the web and found some awesome and easy ideas.

Let’s start with lights. You’ll need string lights for either your home or tree. You can find a string of bacon lights with ten plastic bacon strips through Wireless.

Bacon String Lights,

Now what’s a Christmas tree without some bacon ornaments hanging from it? You can find plenty of originally crafted bacon ornaments from some very crafty people on Etsy. Some examples from Etsy users: JeanKnee and InspiredbyNature3. Another crafter has some cool bacon ornaments through Art Fire – check out TheChristmasCircus. Want something a little more sparkling to shimmer in the lights? Go to Think Geek for your Sparkling Bacon Ornamant.

I’ve never done it myself, but I would see old holiday movies where families would make popcorn strings to place on the tree. If this is something you already enjoy doing or think you want to try, make sure to use J & D’s Bacon Pop.

Don’t forget the candy canes! Of course there’s Bacon Candy Canes! You can find them at

Like I said, I’m not big into Christmas but I do hope everyone that does celebrate has fun decorating and has a safe and happy holiday. Make sure to make some Candied Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies for Santa.
